FUNDRAISING
The PTA helps our school purchase assemblies, field trips, academic and social enrichment, as well as materials that are not in the school budget. This year we are also raising money for a makerspace and improvements to our library.
How it's done...
Teachers, families and local businesses work together to accomplish these goals by:
- Donating online
- Scanning receipts for Box Tops for Education
- Donating to our Jog-a-thon
- Purchasing items from our Silent Auction.
- Purchasing gift cards from our Raise Right program.
Thanks for all you do to make our school great!

ALL YEAR | BOX TOPS
HOW TO EARN - BOX TOPS MAKES IT EASY.
No more clipping. No more sending Box Tops to school. All you need is your phone. Download the ALL-NEW Box Tops app, shop as you normally would, then simply scan your store receipts to find participating products. The app will automatically credit Monroe's Box Tops earnings online.
Twice a year, we will receive a check and can use that cash to buy whatever Monroe needs!
NOTE: We will continue to accept clipped Box Tops until their expiration date and can even receive double credit for these if the receipt is also scanned!

Experience the right way to fundraise
Gift card fundraising is the best way to raise money for our organization. Buy gift cards from your favorite brands to earn on your daily purchases. It's never been easier to create opportunities for what matters most to you. No extra money spent. No extra time wasted.
How it works:
- Buy gift cards at face value
- Earn up to 20% on every gift card you buy
- Use gift cards at full value for your everyday purchases
Some local favorites include movie theaters, gas stations, grocery stores, Home Depot, Disney, Target, Starbucks, Smart and Final, Staples, Ranch Market and more.

DEC 9-13 | WInter wonderland Holiday shop
The Winter Wonderland Holiday Shop is a favorite among the students at Monroe. Well priced gift items are available for purchase during selected times during the school day. Students visit the shop with their class to make a wish list of items they'd like to purchase for family and friends. Then, they return with money to spend at the shop. Items are gift wrapped and labeled for your child to easily place under the tree at home.

MaY 2 | AUCTION & Carnival
The Auction and Carnival is one of our biggest fundraisers each year! Community members rally together to show support for our school. PTA members solicit donations from local businesses, each class creates a themed basket to put up for bidding, Monroe families donate items, and staff members create special experiences for students to purchase. The auction runs at the same time as the Carnival with food, entertainment, inflatables, carnival games and much more! It is a fun-filled event that you won't want to miss!
