garden program
There is a beautiful garden area at Monroe that is now being managed by the Food Ed organization! Our goal is to maintain a space for adults and children to explore and learn more about nature and the world around us. The garden is available for all teachers to use as a tool for learning, relaxation, and reward for their classes. PTA supports this program financially with donations for soil and other needs.
Do you have a green thumb or a passion for gardening? Join in on volunteer workdays and get your hands dirty!
BOOK FAIRS
Monroe students LOVE to read, and we LOVE to see them learning! Monroe hosts book fairs each year, where students can stock up on books! When families purchase books, teachers and the librarian are also able to select books for the school.
