The 2026 Service Awards will be presented by the Monroe PTA to individuals, local businesses, and organizations that have made a difference in the lives of the children in our Monroe Community.
The Monroe PTA is asking for nominations for these awards. Nominees need not be limited to Monroe parents.

The Service Awards will be presented in honor of PTA Founder’s Day at the Monroe Elementary Talent Show on Friday, February 20, 2026 in the Cafeteria.
The awards given may include:
- Very Special Person Award - The very special person award is given to someone who has contributed to the school in a special way.
- Honorary Service Award - An Honorary Service Award is given in special recognition of outstanding service to children and youth.
- Continuing Service Award - The Continuing Service Award is given in special recognition of continued service to children and youth.
- Outstanding Teacher Award - The Outstanding Teacher Award is given to a teacher in special recognition for outstanding service in positively impacting the lives and welfare of children and youth in the community.
- Outstanding Administrator Award - The Outstanding Administrator Award is given in recognition of outstanding service in positively impacting the lives and welfare of children and youth in the community.
- Golden Oak Service Award - The Golden Oak Service Award is the most prestigious award in California. It is given in recognition of significant contributions to the welfare of children and youth in the community.
